Notes
'Finalist' iris (Iris 'Finalist') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Absolute Crush iris, Columbine, and Mount Hood daffodil.
