Notes
'Fire Light' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Fire Light') is a shrub for borders, specimen plantings, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The blooms are white to pink, and butterflies and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast with an arching shape, so give it room.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Western sword fern, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
