Notes

'Bonanza Bee' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Bonanza Bee') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It makes compact, clumping plants with double crested red and gold flowers. The blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Apricotta cosmos, Red fescue, and Snowflake moss phlox.
