Notes

'Flamentiner' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Flamentiner') is a columnar tree for pollinator gardens and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees. It is grown for eating fresh. Plant a second cherry nearby, because this tree is not self-fertile.

Pairs well with Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, Ice Follies daffodil, Ernest Markham clematis, and Many Happy Returns peony.
