Notes
'Flavia' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Flavia') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows as a compact, tall, upright clump. In early summer it bears double cerise blooms. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Lewis bred it.
Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Garlic chives, Queen of Night tulip, and Calendula.
