Notes
'Fleurise' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Fleurise') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant violet flowers in early to late spring, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. M.C. Zonneveld B.V. bred it.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Wide Brim hosta, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
