Notes

'Florence Bond' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Florence Bond') is a perennial for borders, cut flower arrangements, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, double, globular white flowers open in early to mid summer, tinted slightly pink at first. Strong stems hold the blooms upright on plants about 30 to 33 inches tall. Walter L. Gumm bred it.

Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Ostrich fern, and Spotted dead nettle.
