Notes

'Forest Sprite' peony (Paeonia 'Forest Sprite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Upright stems reach about 33½ inches tall and carry fragrant, purplish-pink flowers that are single to semi-double. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Clustered bellflower, Little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
