Notes

'Fortune’s Triumph' peony (Paeonia 'Fortune’s Triumph') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and attracts butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Derek Irvine bred it and introduced it in 2001.

Pairs well with Blue-eyed grass, Niobe clematis, and Greig's tulip.
