Notes

'Four Seas' peony (Paeonia 'Four Seas') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, single, rosy mid-pink flowers face upward on strong, thick stems that need no support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Charles Joly lilac.
