Notes

'Fragrant Spring' clematis (Clematis Montana 'Fragrant Spring') is a climbing vine for borders, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Pink, fragrant flowers open in spring and again in summer, drawing butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows fast, so give it a sturdy support.

Pairs well with Concha ceanothus, Mexican orange blossom, and Rustica Rubra saucer magnolia.
