Notes
'Moongate Mocha' clematis (Clematis montana 'Moongate Mocha') is a vine for pollinator gardens, privacy screens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It climbs fast and has fragrant blooms in spring and again in summer. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit it.
Pairs well with Climbing hydrangea, Bloodgood Japanese maple, and Casa Blanca lily.
