Notes

'Wilsonii' clematis (Clematis Montana 'Wilsonii') is a vine for borders, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The flowers are fragrant and appear in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Climbing hydrangea, Japanese maple, and Fountain grass.
