Notes

'Frankie Curtis' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Frankie Curtis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms open blush and age to white around a round, chrysanthemum-like center. Stiff, stout stems hold the flowers upright. Judge Laurence A. Vories bred it.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Ostrich fern, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
