Notes

'Fried Bananas' hosta (Hosta 'Fried Bananas') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It blooms in early to late summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Fernleaf peony, Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, and White phlox.
