Notes

Fritillary (Fritillaria olivieri) is a bulb for spring borders, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Green bell-shaped flowers hang from upright stems in early to late spring. The blooms have reflexed tips and burgundy to brown shading. Give it good drainage, though it tolerates winter wet.

Pairs well with Red spider lily, Ostrich fern, and Western redbud.
