Notes
'Fuji-goshi-ryo' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Fuji-goshi-ryo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Plant it where its woody stems can stay in place year after year, since a tree peony does not die back to the ground like a perennial peony.
Pairs well with Arabella clematis, Curly Fries hosta, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
