Notes
'Fushakkin' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Fushakkin') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its flowers are white. Chugai introduced it in 1929. You can cut the white blooms for vases and also enjoy them in a mixed border planting.
Pairs well with Blue star, Sedge, and Greig's tulip.
