Notes

Garden privet (Ligustrum ovalifolium) is a shrub for hedges, pollinator gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. White flowers open in early to mid summer and attract bees. It grows 120 to 180 inches tall and wide, so give it room or shear it into a tall hedge.

Pairs well with Chokeberry, Blanket flower, and Ornamental onion.
