Notes

'Geneviève' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Geneviève') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears large, double, creamy white blooms in late spring and early summer. The stems are tall and tend to bend a little, so you may want to give them support. Blooms can be unreliable.

Pairs well with Siberian squill, Ostrich fern, and Brown-eyed Susan.
