Notes

'George Hollis' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'George Hollis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. 'George Hollis' bred it in 1907. The large, full blooms are white with a light pink center and crimson flecks. They open in late spring to early summer and are fragrant.

Pairs well with Siberian squill, Brown-eyed Susan, and Ostrich fern.
