Notes
'Ghost Spirit' hosta (Hosta 'Ghost Spirit') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and bears fragrant lavender blooms from early to late summer. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with White phlox, Alertie peony, and Canada wild rye.
