Notes

'Globe of Light' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Globe of Light') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The rose-pink blooms have a light yellow center and look like a huge anemone flowered chrysanthemum. Silvery rose outer petals frame a crimped cushion of narrow petals in pale rose and yellow. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Incrediball hydrangea, Spanish bluebell, and Foxtail barley.
