Notes
'Gloire de Versailles' ceanothus (Ceanothus delileanus 'Gloire de Versailles') is a shrub for borders and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It bears fragrant, powder blue flowers in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Damask rose, Fountain grass, and Daffodil.
