Notes
'Golden Anniversary' peony (Paeonia 'Golden Anniversary') is a perennial for cut flowers, cottage gardens, borders, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Double golden-yellow blooms with red flares open in spring, and each stem carries three buds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Blue star, Jackmanii clematis, Mock orange, and Grape hyacinth.
