Notes

'Golden Scepter' hosta (Hosta 'Golden Scepter') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant yellow flowers open from early to late summer, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and 12 to 18 inches wide.

Pairs well with Siberian bugloss, Fernleaf peony, and Autumn crocus.
