Notes

'Golden Tuffet' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Tuffet') is a shrub for borders, containers, rock gardens, and foundation planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a dense, low mound with fragrant evergreen foliage. Birds visit it. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Creeping juniper, Sedge, and Witch hazel.
