Notes

'Grace Ott' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Grace Ott') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double, dark crimson flowers open in mid to late spring and early summer, and bright stamens sometimes show. The plant stays compact and erect, and it blooms freely. Walter L. Gumm bred it.

Pairs well with Sedge, Black Hero tulip, and Spotted dead nettle.
