Notes

'Grace Root' peony (Paeonia 'Grace Root') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows up to 26 inches tall and bears fragrant, salmon-pink single cup flowers that attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. A.P. Saunders bred it in 1940.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Blue grama, Picture tulip, and Smooth hydrangea.
