Notes

'Green Halo' peony (Paeonia 'Green Halo') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant white semi-double blooms have a tuft of petals above a light green guard petal base, and they attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Black Hero tulip.
