Notes

'Green Mound' buxus (Buxus 'Green Mound') is a shrub for borders, hedges, foundation plantings, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen, so it keeps its green color all year. Greenish-white flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Balloon flower, and Autumn fern.
