Notes

'Grenadine Dream' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Grenadine Dream') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The clumping plants grow 12 to 24 inches tall and bear fragrant reddish purple blooms. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Blue sage, Big bluestem, and Lily.
