Notes
'Grey Forest' creeping juniper (Juniperus horizontalis 'Grey Forest') is a groundcover for rock gardens and ground cover plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought and salt. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows only 3 to 6 inches tall but spreads 60 to 96 inches, so give it room.
Pairs well with Poppy mallow, Blue grama, and Bristlecone pine.
