Notes

'Ground Master' hosta (Hosta 'Ground Master') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Lilac-purple flowers appear from early to late summer and are fragrant. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Siberian bugloss, Fernleaf peony, and Autumn crocus.
