Notes

'Halcyon' peony (Paeonia 'Halcyon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant light pink blooms have light purple flares and age to white. Stout, erect stems hold the flowers up well.

Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
