Notes
'Half and Half' hosta (Hosta 'Half and Half') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It grows about 12 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches. The fragrant blooms attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, Lady fern, and Big Blue lilyturf.
