Notes

'Helena' grape hyacinth (Muscari 'Helena') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The fragrant blue flowers open in early to late spring. Each bloom shades from royal blue at the base to light blue in the middle and palest blue at the top. Over time the bulbs form drifts.

Pairs well with Dog's tooth violet, Cheerfulness daffodil, Snowdrop, and Sedge.
