Notes

'Henri Potin' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Henri Potin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a Japanese type with deep pink flowers tinted carmine. A big tuft of thin petals in the center turns white and vivid yellow at the tips. Edouard Doriat bred it.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Sedge, and Tiger lily.
