Notes

'Henry Woodward' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Henry Woodward') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its full double blooms open late in spring with a pleasant fragrance. The petals are pale lilac rose, deeper pink at the base, and shade to white at the tips. Stems are tall but somewhat drooping, so you may want to add support.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Blazing star, and Christmas fern.
