Notes

'Hira-no-yuki' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Hira-no-yuki') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms are white with light yellow shading and darker undertones. Shinzaemon Tanaka bred it, and The Chugai Nursery introduced it in 1940.
