Notes

'Hit Parade' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hit Parade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its rose-pink Japanese blooms open in early summer. The full fluffy center is a lighter pink than the two rows of petals. Gilbert H. Wild and Son introduced it in 1965.

Pairs well with Knapweed, Sedge, Miss Kim lilac, and Black Hero tulip.
