Notes
'Hpopr013' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Hpopr013') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching form grows 48 to 72 inches tall and wide, and the green-white blooms mature to pink. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Bees visit the blooms, and the shrub also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Eastern columbine, and Western sword fern.
