Notes

'Hyperion' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Hyperion') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. The blooms are primrose yellow inside and out. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Wide Brim hosta, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
