Notes

'Infanta' peony (Paeonia 'Infanta') is a shrub for specimen plantings, borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The small ivory white blooms have dark flares, open from spring into early summer, and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it in 1948.

Pairs well with Mock orange, David garden phlox, and Blue fescue.
