Notes

'Itsaul White' delilah purple dianthus (Dianthus plumarius 'Itsaul White') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant white flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to mid summer, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It forms an evergreen clump up to 9 inches tall.

Pairs well with Picture tulip, Nodding onion, and White Feather hosta.
