Notes

'Ivory Elegance' peony (Paeonia 'Ivory Elegance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant cream blooms have light pink flares and a cup shape with a double row of guard petals. Roy G. Klehm bred it. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Yarrow, and Carlton daffodil.
