Notes

'Ivory Prince' Lenten rose (Helleborus hybridus 'Ivory Prince') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Pink buds open to outward-facing white flowers in late winter to early spring. The evergreen leaves keep the mounding clumps attractive through winter.

Pairs well with Marginal wood fern, Partridge berry, Ruby Giant autumn crocus, and American yew.
