Notes

'Ivory White Saucer' peony (Paeonia 'Ivory White Saucer') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, pearly ivory blooms have a saucer shape and open early, and butterflies and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Lyman Cousins bred it.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Black Hero tulip, Blue grama, and Smooth hydrangea.
