Notes

'Jan Lindmark' clematis (Clematis 'Jan Lindmark') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears mauve blooms and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. 'Jan Lindmark' bred it as a seedling of 'Blue Bird'. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Downy clematis, Festiva Maxima peony, Dawn viburnum, and Little bluestem.
