Notes

'Jasper' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Jasper') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flower use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are light pink with dark red flares. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001, and it came from a seedling of 'Seidl' #119.

Pairs well with Weigela, Pink Impression tulip, and Christmas fern.
